Sour Assistant
This is a take on a Whiskey Sour, very simple and delcious!
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz Whiskey 
For sweet and sour mix:
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar 
- 1/2 cup water 
- 1/2 cup lime juice (preferably freshly squeezed) 
- 1/2 cup lemon juice (preferably freshly squeezed) 
Instructions:
- Make Simple Syrup. Add water and sugar to a small sauce pan and heat over medium heat until boiling. Cook, stirring until sugar completely dissolved. Once the sugar is dissolved remove from heat and let cool completely. 
- Create sweet and sour mix by combining the lemon juice, lime juice, and Simple Syrup. This stores for 3-4 weeks in a container in the fridge. 
- Combine 3 oz of the sweet and sour mix, ice and 1.5 oz of whiskey in a shaker and shake to combine. Pour into a glass with ice and enjoy!
